I need help with the locket primitive

#1
Anyone got any hints or alternative meanings for locket (as used in "admirable", "difference", etc.)?

If you are a Harry Potter fan, how about Mad-Eye Moody? Locket is like 吾 (I sounds like eye) and sunglasses with one lens popped out.

I kept locket but made it a photo locket and instead of a pic of your children or parents it contains photo of my (imaginary) nasty ugly cousin "Kee"gan who just got out of a fight at the bar and was left with only a few teeth in his gaping "mouth" and one of the "lenses in his sunglasses popped out".

In my follow up stories its the phenominal uglyness of the locket that makes the stories work (its so ugly it makes no 'difference' if its left on the road to be driven over or not and blowing my 'thread' 'horizontal' just by the sight of it) Good luck. It took me a while to come up with something that stuck for me.

I thought maybe use "different", as an abbreviation of "chigau", which I already know.

So "admirable" = a person who is different enough to stand above the rest. "Defense" (e.g. a bit of karate) is of course needed by the person who's different from the crowd when he walks down the boulevard. "Woof" is different to warp because it runs horizontally (while it's still on the loom--hence Heisig's keyword). "Korea" -- I don't know.

Now I'm having trouble distinguishing "cap" from "canopy". They're too similar and I get their stories mixed up. Any hints?

For cap I use : 'If you try to wear a towel as you would a cap, you run the risk of looking kind of dumb'

Just keep the story for canopy

That's good, fragileshards! If you like, you could share a "hint" for the locket primitive in the Study area. You don't have to add a story to it. The way to do this currently is to share it in the first kanji that uses the primitive, so in this case it would be frame #1643 "admirable".
