As I approach the finishing line I try to gather as much information as possible on what to do next. Feel free to correct my ways.
Currently my plan is:
1. Refresh my Kana - easy.
2. Tae Kim - will work through the book and un-suspend sentences in anki as I go.
3. Core 2000 - I'll just un-suspend as much sentences as possible each day and try to read & understand them. Its supposedly more fun than KO, has better audio and import to anki is really easy.
4. Mine sentences - I'll do it simultaneously with point 3 and put interesting things I encounter. One of the first things I want to do is mine songs I listen to very often, my reasoning is that if I have about 20 favorite songs and remember them almost by heart it should really help with listening.
What I'm most concerned about is using flashcards correctly and modifying them as I get more advanced ie. going J-J, reworking what should be part of the question and what a part of the answer.
I also don't understand sub2srs, should I be translating sentences myself (bad idea since I suck)? How do I work with them later on, should I shadow or just watch over and over again?
My last problem is that English is not my native language and I don't know if I should just use it or translate to my L1.
