With video, it's just light years better.... I don't know, still wrapping my mind around it, I have a cpl ideas for 'strategies' rather than tactics, need to process though. Video on iPod, playlists, environmental interaction, different ways of doing the cards......... and of course dialogue call-and-response cards (http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...2#pid64392) .... *brain explodes*
Also, hardcoded video annotation? I wonder...... (http://forum.koohii.com/showthread.php?p...2#pid66682)
Hmm, as for the call-and-response cards, you can actually have a video on each side, then when you hit f5/replay, it plays them in order, putting the dialogue together....

cescoz, I just read that you're the one who mentioned videos in Anki a few times. Thank you for drawing the attention of the programmer-gods resolve and cb4960 to help make this happen, I was too busy fantasizing about videos in Anki to realize you could already do it.

All this vulgarity leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Some rain will wash it away:

a:もっと
Dame: Don't.
Yamete: Stop.
Moto: More.
And wouldn't you know it, within 30 seconds, the video used all three of those in that order.
Obviously, I know now that there's a little more nuance to the words than that, but it was quite funny at the time. And I learned them JUST from watching anime!
