Anki Stroke Order

#1
I can't seem to figure out how to get Anki to show the stroke order, even though I've read that it can be done. Any help?

I don't think it's a built-in feature; you might have luck copying animated diagrams from Yamasa (http://www.yamasa.cc/members/ocjs/kanjid...e?OpenForm) or somewhere like that, if you want stroke order on your cards. Personally, I only looked up stroke order for the characters I was unsure of--after the first 800 or so, the underlying logic really sinks in and correct stroke order just feels right. Towards the end of the book, I was only needing to look up a few unfamiliar primitives. (乗 was particularly bad, for example)

If you install Anki's Japanese support plugin (File -> Download -> Shared Plugin), you can look up stuff from inside Anki by selecting it and using the Tools -> Lookup option. This directs you to WWWJDIC, which has stroke order animations.

If you install the font from here: http://sites.google.com/site/nihilistorguk/ you can then change the font in Anki to be the stroke order font (Settings->Fonts and Colours...).
