I don't think there is a Native Japanese language version, but there are translations.

Some of this material might be useful for mining, get some pretty good vocabulary given the wide range of subjects on TED. I've wasted too many hours viewing them, they're just so interesting!

I remember a while back I had a Japanese university ftp address that was full of video lectures in Japanese, computer science though. This was ages ago so I've lost the link.

tahnks for that. probably if one were to search one could find university lectures in japanese on video I guess. I should look in to it

It's a place for rich people to gather for a nominal ~4-digit entrance fee and talk about how smart they are, and recently, videotaping some of it and sharing online. ;p
