Hey everyone.
Just got a shiny new Nintendo DS Lite and am thinking of buying the (Opera) Browser for it. Has anyone tried this site on it? Any luck? I know this site doesn's work on a lot of palm devices.

I've been R'ing the K on Opera for Nintendo Wii. Haven't tried it for DS, but wouldn't be surprised if it works.

Hya, I don't think the Review page will work in Opera mini. I've read somewhere "If you want AJAX, you will need Opera Mobile." Don't know what Opera mobile is though. I think Ricardo was looking into a "proxy" for solving this, though..

GMail might revert to a html/javascript version though if the asynchronous javascript features are not present.

What's Opera and what does it have to do with reviewing Kanji? I have a DS Lite, so that'd be cool if I could review on it...

*Revives topic from the dead*
So has anyone figured out how to get RevTK going on DS opera? The proxy that people are using for other mobile platforms lets the site load, however it displays the keyword and the kanji together. Not much of a flashcard experience there. I was surprised at how badly the DS browser renders.
However, there are a few homebrew browsers being developed. I think most are writing browsers from scratch which isn't too promising, but I think DSLinux might be porting an existing engine.

Jarvik7 gained 34 experience points in Necromancy!
At one point, I would have remotely cared about this, but my DS's top screen recently died on me.
My brief impression from the browser was that its lack of support for, well, virtually everything made it even more useless than the PSP's modest browser, but I digress.

Are you using it on dual screen mode or one-screen mode? When I tried it a long time ago on one-screen mode, it was working through the proxy, but not great. The purpose of the proxy is to duplicate the page and show you just the upper half, and then scroll down to the lower one when you press "Flip." It would be nice if there were a lightweight version of the review page like Anki has.
I agree that the DS browser is frustrating and not all that useful, but it does work great with Anki's lightweight phone page.
