Just now getting the japanese lyrics to English songs I know, stick them in the lyric file and can listen and read while commuting etc. i think the important point to note is attaching the understanding and feeling you already have from the song to the words. spaced repetition gave me good memorization skills for reading, but no emotional attachment.

if people could post the good lyrics sites they find, that'd be nice. im using

sometimes there are translation misses, but it's not something worth getting annoyed by.

You passed JLPT 1級 after 3 months of study? How did you pull that off?

For lyrics, http://www.goo.ne.jp usually has everything last I looked. Make sure to disable java so that you can copy/paste the lyrics (not sure if you need to do this with Chrome).

@kitakisune, what's this about N1 in 6 months?

OP edited and deleted posts mentioning language ability but before that mentioned that he/she did Heisig in 3 months and then JLPT 4-1 three months later.

OP doesn't want to talk about it though.
