Woah! It took me awhile to work out what that website does but its strangely addictive for some reason now that I've worked it out...

Does reaching an equilibrium actually have any use though?

It's a horrible translator, but then again, it's obviously a joke.

For those who can't get to the site (it seems to be working now) or don't understand, what it does is it translates an English phrase (which you enter) into Japanese, then translates it back to English, and it repeats this process until it reaches "equilibrium," that is, it gets the same phrase in English as the previous English step, so there is no need to continue, or until it gives up after a certain number of steps. The funny thing is that it really changes the meaning each time because the translation is very inexact. The English sentences end up not even being grammatical half the time... I can only wonder how bad the Japanese sentences are. I'm sure they are a bad translation, but are they even grammatical? I wouldn't use them to learn from!

"The quick brown fox jumped over the fence" turned into this "KUIKKUBURAUNFOKKUSU, on the other side of the fence飞BI". I'm loving how quick brown fox became KUIKKUBURAUNFOKKUSU. Awesome.

Reducibility Cool

It's like long division, only, without the making sense part.
