I have a text file of all the RTK2 groups (just kanji, not compounds) but Mr. Heisig asked me not to distribute it since the software company that makes KanjiGym own some rights to the data, and he could not give me permission within that contract :-(

Does Mr. Heisig claim copyright over the on-readings itself or the list of radicals that indicate on-reading? Did he file a patent for his method? Poor Japanese. Now they will be forced to burn quite a few of their school books.

You can try this, it's not the pure groups, but it includes a file that sorts all the kanji by onyomi.

there was a pretty heated debate about this on the forum. the fact that i simply transcribed the lists from his book gives him some merit; it was no trivial task for him, you must understand. i figured that if i could generate groups myself using freely available data, then there would be no problem. it turned out that it would require a lot more massaging by hand than i wanted to get into.
