Need a quick answer to a question!

I'm going crazy trying to find the meaning to this word!

The word is しとく, it's a verb, because I saw it conjugated as しとこう, as in the sentence fragment: 12:30時にしとこう!

What is the meaning of しとく? I can't find it on my computer's dictionary, my 電子辞書, or using google and rikaichan.

Any ideas?

It's an abbreviation of "して おく” which is the てーform of "する” and おく.

So it's kind of like, to do something in advance or in preparation for something.
Maybe for a party you could say
パーティーの準備を12時にしておこう!
if the party starts at like 1 or something.

So say I was planning to go somewhere with a friend. And we were deciding a time to meet, then they said "じゃあ、12:30時にしとこう"

Does that mean that there is a plan to meet there at that time, or plan to leave for there at that time?

(thanks for the quick reply, by the way!)

Could be either, しておく doesn't imply which of the two. It's like "Let's say 12:30" in English, depends on context what you mean.
