Anybody here read Cal Newport`s book "How to Become a Straight-A Student: The Unconventional Strategies Real College Students Use to Score High While Studying Less"?

Cal interviewed lots and lots of straight A students about their study practices and from this distilled the very best techniques to excel without grinding. I wonder if a similar strategy would provide interesting results when used on Japanologists with above average grades? Another idea would be to target people who passed level 1 of the JLPT?
