I've given up on studying the core two times.
The first because i "studied" every single other word in the sentence( i was forcing myself to remember a lot of vocabulary and I failed miserably)
The second because my bad choice of keep adding a lot of new cards (over 50 a day)


Therefore i've learned that is better to keep a slow pace than burning out. Now I'm on my way to 1000 cards of core10k and until now it's going very well.

Considering the small amount of review i need to do now, I listen the audio of each sentence but in future probably i will listen only the most difficult ones.

I listen to the audio while reading the sentence at the same time, after I answer the card based on the vocab. If I was in a hurry to do 200 reviews I could just move to the next card w/o bothering with the sentence, but I have yet to do this. The difference would be a 3~4 second review (pure vocab review) instead of the current 8~9 seconds reviews, so I guess doubling the speed. The audio for the word alone is good as a double check if you really read what you were supposed to read (the same for the sentence). This is useful for similar words like 会社 and 社会.
