are you kidding?!? i LOVE the NHK school site, it's much more fun than the highschool site, imo.
Colourful are interesting documentaries about different lives of kids in Japan, and the kokugo lessons are great for learning extra stuff about Japanese. And, in the shakai section you can find out about lots of different foods that are special to each prefecture, as well as other stuff. Some of the science stuff is things i've long forgotten too...
In the middle school section, i like the ones on the different types of jobs, and also the ones about living right (something i am deficient in).
Admittedly, the communication training ones are a bit weird though... it's like they were made for aliens or something, i'm sure kids can pretty much pick up this stuff without having to watch a program on it...
