No, it's actually the imperative of suru, although this is a fixed phrase so it doesn't really matter. Look up 何しろ as a whole in dictionaries and you should find a lot of example sentences.

You will also hear 何せよ sometimes. I believe Japanese people call this use of the imperative ”放任用法”.

Can anyone tell me if I have the following any where near right? I don't know if 有効かつ頑健なものを goes to 生成する but I think it does.
中国語等の特定の言語の文法であって、限定されたコーパスにおいて機械翻訳に対し有効かつ頑健なものを、複雑な言語学的分析を必要とすることなく生成する装置を提供する。
within grammars of designated languages such as Mandarin, supplies a device that forms efficient and robust things with regards to machine translation within limited corpuses regardless of whether complex linguistic analysis is necessary

translates to something like this.
(We) provide a device that, within the limited corpus and grammar of certain languages such as chinese, produces valid and robust output for machine translation without the need for complicated grammatical analysis.
edit: forgot to mention. pretty sure ものを is connecting to 生成する here. Here もの is the thing (output) produced by the device. And 対し here is for. I'm guessing this is some component, algorithm, or program for use in machine translation.

Yeah, you might be right -- the patent stuff is too boring and complicated for me to spend much time on, so I should probably just avoid the questions like I have been.

What is the difference between 服・服装・衣服・衣類・衣装・衣料? And maybe also 洋服 (they seem to use it, even if there is no need to contrast to 和服, right?)
