Yay, after a massive backlog of cards I've finally caught up =D Better get reading this chapter then..

Aa.. This is already confusing me =(
This sentence:
実はこの人テニスやってねんけど…
What does the ねん part mean? Is it part of the Kansai dialect?

=( Man, this is confusing.... 「来はった」って?! 何だそれ!!

Yes, it's been taking me longer than usual to translate this chapter because of the kansai dialect. I think I've figured out most of it, but there are still a few things I'm unsure of.

Whew! I finished the translation, but ran into some unexpected hurdles along the way. In addition to the abundance of Kansai dialect used, I was also confused about some of the references to previous events. And before this i had no idea what a お守り was. Do many people carry these things around?

In the chapter there are references to クラッカー, but I don't know what it's called in English. I don't think they are firecrackers, but some type of cone shaped object which shoots out confetti or streamers.

I'll go over the translation again tonight and write down any other questions i have.

On the subject of Osakaben:

Linked from that other site, and seems like a good place to start for learning it.

Best English equivalent of 'cracker' I can think of is this:
