How many hours do I wait between study and adding new cards?

#1
Sorry if this has been asked before, but how many hours am I supposed to wait between the time I finish studying a bunch of kanji and the time I add more cards into my list?

For weeknights am I supposed to study kanji first, then add my cards, then go to sleep? Or should it be cards, then new kanij, then sleep?

For weekends I'm lost because I'm pretty much going AJATT style on the weekends. Should I just study all new kanji all day Sat/Sun, then on Sunday night add all the new cards/review?

thanks!

If you mean how much time between learning new Kanji. Well I think most people agree learning new Kanji on a daily basis. That's what I did.

And regarding the last part, my advice is to study new Kanji everyday. Focus on learning new Kanji and not so much in trying to get them all right on reviews. Failing is also great, because unless you ignore the Kanji for a month, whenever you go back and read the story you will remember it. When you are done with adding Kanji the SRS will take care of you.

I don't know about other people, but my process is to add new kanji after I finish the reviews on the site. On days when I have a large number of failed kanji, usually over 50 I refrain from adding new ones. If you go at a reasonable pace you shouldn't ever have that many failed per day. I'm adding around 100 a day though, so days when I fail 50 are kind of inevitable. My reviews are around 150-200 cards per day.

This is my 4th time going through RTK. So the first 1000 go pretty fast for me. I barely have to study those anymore.

Doesn't matter. Just add them and keep reviewing.

Same from me: Review first, add when you're done reviewing.

If you're using RevTK as the SRS, it's was Review due cards, Review new cards from day prior, Study missed cards, use remaining time to study and add new cards.

Just keep adding them.

I wish I gave myself day breaks though, instead of waiting myself to crash, get depressed and not add cards for days.
