Understanding basic japanese grammar

Has anyone used this book? If so how did you guys use it and/or study it?

Did you just read it like a book from front to back or did you enter all the sentences into anki? Did you guys find it useful?

don't know about that but tae kim's grammar was enough for me. the rest of the gramamr I ran into was resolved with just me and yahoo dic jp or rikai-chan or just google.

I think the primary reason some people liked this book was simply because it contains lots of example sentences that could be put into anki. Its probably good to make cloze deletion sentences for practicing the grammar.

I've leafed through it, but it's too sprawling to be useful for me. I've used jgram.org and jisho/Rikaisama to look up grammar points with which I'm unfamiliar. Beyond that, I use back issues of Mangajin to learn and review grammar, mainly because I prefer learning by example.
