You have pretty good handwriting unlike me XD

Edit: the writing won't make sense at all when read together; they're just parts of many different sentencs written right after one another. And that's my boyfriend's work of art there XP

I usually don't concern myself with making them pretty while reviewing.

This is a few months old, but my handwriting hasn't changed since then.
When reviewing I don't care too much about proportions and stuff.
My Japanese coworkers always tell me what is wrong with my kanji. Seems like they really look quite strange to Japanese people *sigh* x___X
I still haven't found a (good) way to improve my writing.

that's sum big kanji...

Agreed, you write well, all of us do. I also find it far more legible. I hate reading some things people write in English that you can't read... so I think what everyone has done is very cute and pretty, and very legible.

Well, its all comparable to our own writing styles in our own respective language.
Other people that are native or fluent to our written language, can find most handwriting legible, as is this the same with Japanese.
I also try to look at it this way: in real-life situations, you don't really have time to make everything you write look pretty. Most of the time you're writing as fast as you can.

Searh any Kanji here and see how it looks in 3 different styles, you will find the handwritten style specially useful: http://yamasa.cc/members/ocjs/kanjidic.n...3?OpenForm

My handwriting is abhorrent as well, though I use the Yamasa dictionary to check some kanji. I wish I just had more handwriting to read so I could figure out what kind of shortcuts to use. I may commission such a sample from a Japanese friend sometime soon... hrmmm...
I'll post some of my up tomorrow.

Here's mine:

It's pretty hard to take a picture of a piece of white graph paper without getting that red coloring. But yeah, this is just a random sample... definitely not my best, just a random page from my graph-paper notebook I use when I review. I don't think it looks very cursive either, but I'm working on it. First, I've just got know all of them, though
P.S.

LOL! Haahahah! Indeed, that is not a kanji. If I screw up with the wrong stroke, sometimes I'll just try and make it into a little doodle of some sort. Hahaha, I didn't even notice.

here's mine... and it's not pretty ^^ i don't try to make them pretty when i'm reviewing, not that it would make much of a difference though.
(the ones on the left column are 旧字体, just because they are prettier. whoever decided 新字体 was a good idea must have had no artistic inclinations whatsoever.)

dhb2ppa, I like your writing. I can see all the radicals. I think the only thing that would help is that the vertical lines should be straight up and down (not slanted like in our ro-maji writing.) Instead, the horizontal lines can slant up to the right a little bit.
