Need audio resources

#1
*note: this is for Mandarin Chinese

Hi, I'm still a beginner although I know about 100 words and can speak a tiny bit.

I have Pimsleur's Mandarin 1 audio CD. My study method is to put a bunch of words and sentences into Anki. Currently I'm just using text(Chinese characters + pinyin + meaning) but I would like to add audio to this to aid in recall.

I was thinking of cutting up the Pimsleur audio files and inserting tiny 1 sentence chunks, however I quickly found that this isn't practical since there is a lot of material and I wouldn't know which chinese characters to use when transcribing the audio.

I need help finding some audio resources for beginners that also contain a transcription so that any text I input into the program will have the correct chinese characters.

If anyone could help with this it would be great.

Thanks

Unbeatable. You get transcripts with audio so you can play each sentence individually when you're reviewing. You get TONS of native conversations about various subjects. The audio is faaar more interesting than Pimsleur as well.

Highly recommended.

smart.fm is pretty cool too, a lot of the lists have audio along with the sentences.
