I got two of them also, this person (?) will have a lot of trouble stalking all of us at once. Granted he/she couldn't pick a finer group of people to stalk.

I will delete the messages at first convenience. The funny part (which brought me immediately back to this forum in order to check) was the part about how my "profile looked good" or something like that.

As I suspected, my profile states my name and what state I live in. Nothing else to my knowledge.

Here and here you can see those fine babes who want to marry you. They're from the same isp in Senegal or South Africa (I got the links doing a ISP search). Obviously the scammers use a collection of photos, and I'm pretty sure they're all GUYS.

I received it too. So what's the scam? How will she get from "Hi my dearest" to "so, just wondering what's your bank account private information?" really because I don't someone falling for that trap in a hundred years.

They'll sell you some stupid story that they need some cash to buy something, and try get you to advance it. Something like, I really want to meet you but I can't afford the petrol for my car, can you lend me $50. Each time the amount will just get larger.

They'll take your bank info if they can get it, but they'll settle for just taking your money. And let's face it, there are many guys that will fall for anything when a 'beautiful woman' is in distress and showing them attention.

Not that it doesn't happen to girls, too, though.
