is there such a thing as an Anki Review Calculator? Like, that you can enter your retention rates for mature and young cards and how many new cards you add a day and how many of them you rate hard, good and easy...and it will give you an approximation for daily reviews? Yes? No?

Just wondering...

(Number You Add a Day) / (Retention Rate of those new cards) = X
(Number of Cards You Review a Day) / (Retention Rate of those mature cards) = Y
X + Y = Number of Cards you will be reviewing a day

I have no idea if that's in any way correct or not...

But Anki gives you a 'range' when your cards show up again. Therefore it might be a little tough to figure out 'exactly' what it'll be. I assume you could do some calculations on your own to figure out what it would be.

More cards added in and low retention rate = More reviews per day
Less cards added in and high retention rate = Less reviews per day

Therefore, if your reviews start piling up, start adding less per day.
