Strange rendition of Heisig 590 庭

#1
I'm a big user of the images and movies at MIT's kanji project.. My SRS software has both embedded in it.

I was surprised when I went to the page for 庭. Everything looks fine. Click the movie link. The character being drawn is not 庭. In fact, I can't even find that character in my New Nelson.

Any thoughts?

When I draw it into my 電子辞書 the way it is drawn in the movie, I get it coming out the way it is displayed in RtK.

Yeah so I think it's just another way to write it or potentially an older form of the kanji. Either way, just stick to writing it as RtK has it, and I think you'll be fine.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that MIT just screwed up.
Out of all the 6355 kanji (at least in the dictionary I use (here)), there's only 69 that use the 广 radical.
None of them have 延 inside it.
