I rarely remember my dreams, but I recently dreamt that I was sitting by my computer, doing reviews in Anki. Unfortunately, the cards were still there when I woke up. ò_ó

I had my first dream (that I remember) in Japanese about a month ago or so, pretty cool experience. Since they I can remember a few times where I've dreamed in Japanese but I don't really remember the details. The first dream was during an afternoon nap- I seem to be able to remember dreams better when I'm just napping.

I one had a dream that people were saying し　instead of と　to list things, The thing is this was before I learned that usage for し so when I found out I was like :o :o :o

I actually have a draem every single night, and I only forget them if I don't immediately start thinking about it when I wake up. Such as if i wake up and go to the bathroom without thinking about it I'll more than likely forget 99% of it.

If you arn't having dreams everynight I'd like to ask you, how long are you sleeping for? I used to never get dreams in highschool and such cuz I only slept like 4-6 hours a night. I sleep around 7-8 hours now adays, and ever since i've started this much healthier habit I started having a dream every night.

Though to contradict my advice, I have had dreams while napping for 1 to 2 hours, so not sure how much it relates to the amount of sleep you get. Anyways, only know what I've experienced myself.

All humans have several dreams during every sleep. But dreams are stored in short term memory, and generally clear out by the time one wakes, as there's a decent transition period between the level of sleep where you can dream and the point of waking (or should be). The only way to remember a dream is to wake up early in the cycle (best if in the actual middle of a dream). Even in this case, the dream will remain in short term memory only and vanish within several minutes/hours if you don't consciously go over all of the facts of your dream again while awake.
The funny thing about this comes if you attempt lucid dreaming. It sounds non-intuitive, but you could train yourself to lucid dream and have several lucid dreams in any given night, but be totally unaware of it by the time you wake up. This is why lucid dreamers often set alarms in the middle of one of their REM phases.

Not all; IIRC there exist disorders and brain lesions that can cause the absence of REM and, as far as can be identified, dreaming. This is pathological, however.

I totally agree with this. I hate having to sleep. But I find it's much better to just get the necessary sleep, because the waking moments will be much better for it.

I think 黒人 get much more love than 白人 simply because, aside from military bases, their numbers are few. That which is rare is most passionately sought after.

An African tout tried to chat up my 6 month pregnant wife a few months ago in Roppongi. I would think if he got his fair share of women he probably wouldn't be desperate enough to hit on a pregnant woman.

Some choice lines included "Let's go have lunch, I'll buy you a watch."

But... pregnant women are really hot.

More seriously (though I am serious, they are), that's really just not very fair characterization. One black guy hitting on what you don't personally consider to be a desirable prize doesn't really correlate to the situation as a whole, especially since there's two or three additional leaps of logic that have to be taken to get from here to there.

Sorry for re-starting this thread again.

But I recently had a dream, where me and my friend were in a supermarket place. And this japanese girl starts talking to us. My friend seems to just giving that clueless expression and walking away. While I'm just listening to everything she's saying. Surprisingly the dream was all in japanese(well in audio at least).

Plus just today, I had another one where it was all spoken as well. Pretty interesting.

I think it's due to me listening to japanese almost all day long.
