RTK2 deck or spreadsheet?

#1
I have the RTK2 book and have finally decided to try and tackle it after much hemming and hawing. I've read all the other threads on this forum about pros, cons, techniques etc and I guess there is nothing left to do but try it.

With that said, does anyone have a complete or incomplete Anki deck or spreadsheet that has the RTK2 suggested compounds in it? I'm loathe to start banging these into Anki if someone else has already done it...

I know there is a spreadsheet on the forum that has the on readings + RTK1/RTK2 numbers + kanji + keyword, but it lacks the exemplary compounds, which is what I am looking for... Thanks for any help you can provide!

Ok I ended up making my own Anki deck. Right now it has the following fields:
Expression (for the compound)
Meaning (english meaning for compound + a mnemonic if I need one)
Reading
Keyword
Kanji
RTK1 #
RTK2 #
RTK2 alt#
On yomi
Type (e.g. Pure, Semipure, Mixed, etc)

I am in process of studying and filling in Expression/Meaning/Reading from RTK2 book. If anyone is interested in a copy, or better yet wants to help me fill it out let me know...

I never understood why people make such complicated flashcards. Isn't the compound on one side and the reading/definition on the other good enough? It's certainly faster(especially with Trinity).

sounds like what I'm looking for, may I ask how far you have progressed with this?

Can anyone provide me an spreadsheet or a link where I can download it, with the following informations?:

Kanji On yomi Keyword

RTK1 # RTK2 #

I found lists, but very often in one column are all the ON yomi and KUN yomi together.

This spreadsheet has most of the information you require (the ON and kun readings are separated).

However, I added readings for the Joyo kanji only (& the proposed new Joyo kanji for 2010). So of the 2042 RTK1 kanji, 61 do not have readings.

(I've just made a little spreadsheet with some of the more useful readings for the other 61 kanji here)

Oh, thanks!

I inserted already the german meanings and splitted the ON Yomi column in two columns, so I have the ON Yomi out of the RTK2 in the first column and all the other in the 2. Column.
