The translation provided was...

"Don't argue! Just do as you're told."

ALC is generally translations of English to Japanese, not the reverse. So the Japanese sentence is attempting to communicate the original sentence. Learning Japanese expressions via Eijirou is not a great idea, as there's no telling if a given expression is natural or not.

My favorite sentence so far:

猿も木から堕ちる (さるもきからおちる)

I've seen it translated as 'Even monkeys fall from trees' and 'Monkeys also fall from trees.' The second translation (which I think it is less accurate) gives me a mental image of all this fruit raining from a tree, and then a monkey falling, too, hands and feet flailing.

I laugh every time.
