started using gmails built in word and excel style editor and found out they are actually a great way to build up your vocab lists and kanji lists when you use more than one pc. I used to have to email myself back and forth from home to work to home and it was a real pain. But with gmails editors it stores them online in a central place. It also allows you to invite people to collaborate i.e. give them editing privaliges to your online files or simply the ability to look. The downside is both editors have limited functionality so dont expect to make a presentation on them but they are perfect for studying.
My access restricted pc at work doesnt have the japanese font so i cant use this site (IT wont come to install the font) so the next best thing is to simply create stories on my RTK spreadsheet on gmail and when i get hom upload them to my pocket pc leitner software. Its a great workaround.
Gmail is also kind to allow you to import and export your files to other popular formats such as excel.
Check it out.
