Kanji Etymology Charts

#1
Just stumbled on this site.
It displays the etymology of the kanji using pretty graphs:
http://kanji-database.sourceforge.net/id...index.html

Here's where the data comes from:

If I import this lists with utf-8, I get always &GT-12345; instead of Kanjis:

http://cvs.m17n.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/i...text/plain

个 = ⿱&GT-00458;丨

Official coding is utf-8-mcs-er. Can anyone help me importing this?
