How long do you think it takes to be fluent in Japanese?

I believe I read in another thread he was sleep-deprived, has a glass in his hand at noon(assuming an exquisite alcoholic drink), and was typing with his hands and feet at the same time.

If so, we have nothing to worry about...or do we? Smile

Edit: I also realized that kazelee is a 6'2" guy so I couldn't stop lauging when I imagined a guy that tall sitting down at a computer typing with one hand and two feet while drinking a glass of champagne with the other hand.

Props to Kazelee for making my day Smile
As for me, I still can't figure out whether I love him or hate him. :/
It helps if you just consider it the internet equivalent of drunk dialing. I think I'll take a break. A very loooong break.

I'll have to 'fess up. I was well into my fifth beer when I criticized your post.

Friends don't let friends post drunk.

Drinking and Commenting can lead to a 30 post pile-up. (only commenting on this thread as it turned humorous)

I'm guessing you don't watch インターの神様 because that stuff is pretty easy to enjoy. I haven't counted, but I'm guessing I'm about 50/50 on any given night. Although I swear some of the 50% that I didn't enjoy has more to do with the fact that it wasn't funny.

The complicated word-play does blow right by me though. Sometimes my girlfriend can explain it fast enough for it to be funny, but usually not. Smile

On another note ... I think from this point forward one should be drunk to post to this topic. The question is really rhetorical without some baseline definition anyway.
Indeed, the comedians on エンターの神様 are pretty hit or miss. Very few Japanese comedians have any lasting power in the first place. That's why they're always gone after a year.

And by "you must be drunk to post to this topic", does that mean "more drunk than normal"?

(Actually I only drunk post on Fridays since I drink a ridiculous amount to shock & awe all of the people in my 飲み会クラブ with my Ukranian-Irish liver. I must protect my manly 先輩 status.)

You mean I've spent all this time reading drunken ramblings? I mean, I noticed it didn't make the most sense, but I thought that was because you were all a little crazy(due to not being me).

That is a statement that you needlessly qualified with the word "Japanese". Like all entertainers very few make it in the first place and even fewer have lasting power. That's universal.

Nah, your standard one beer buzz is good enough. We want to still be able to understand the posts.
one beer buzz? I've never heard of such a thing.
