I tried to figure it out today, tested about 30 anime. It seems like this issue is limited to a few shows encoded "with certain settings" but i cant say what it is exactly. They were all 1080p, High 10@L5.1 encoded by coalgirls. I thought it was the high quality crf13 coding but the same issue occured with [High 10@L5.1, crf15/16] in Final8's: Hellsing & Mirai Nikki.
According to their website those coalgirls shows were all done by the same encoder: Tenshi. Subs2srs doesn't like any of his 10bit encodes (Another, Hyouka, Boku wa Tomodachi etc.) while his 8bit Hanasaku Iroha & Ao no Exorcist didn't cause any errors - both with even higher bitrates & file size... so thats not the issue either i think. Coalgirls encodes by different members and all the other 10bit anime i've tested worked fine so i guess it could be Tenshi's & Final8's 10bit settings.
I also tested Windows 7 x64 & disabled anti-virus but that didn't help. Anyway, since -most- 10bit videos are not affected I think its no biggie. Of course it would be nice if some of the best encodes were supported but i'm not sure if this somewhat rare issue is worth losing sleep over.

I'm trying to create a deck with the .tsv I made for Durarara! When I click import I see a list of 'Appeared twice in file: Durarara!_1' then at the bottom and it only has added 1 note. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

Hey amn, I absolutely love this tool so far. I have a feature suggestion that would make my life much easier, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. In the context section, I think it'd be great if in addition to setting the number of lines to give context, we could set a maximum time interval, for instance, perhaps I want one line of preceding context, and one line of trailing context, but I'm using a series with sparse dialog. It'd be awesome if I could tell subs2srs to only include the line of context if it takes place within 5 seconds of the line or ten second, or one minute, or whatever amount of time I'd fancy. That way, I have more control over reducing the amount of "context" I get that might not actually help with context at all.

I'd like to be able to see how long the total amount of audio files are gonna get after the process is done as a feature. I use the program also to make merged audio files to the ipod so I listen only to the dialogy part not to all songs and 大丈夫?、あぁ~、しっかりしろ!おはよう!頑張って!超うめぇ!and what not. It makes listening more efficient.

I can't get Japanese Support (Furigana) to work with subs2srs files hmm
The files have been imported and work fine but lack any kana (This is difficult with accented voices, I need to be sure of what I'm hearing). I installed Japanese support and added at the back of the card template {{kana:Reading}}. I viewed the deck in Browse and selected all cards > Bulk Add Readings, but nothing comes up.
Any ideas?
*Edit* got it working, derp

Hey cb4960, amazing tool. I just have one issue at the moment. I'm trying to import lyrics from a song in lrc format. The issue is that none of the repeated lines import. That is to say, when a line is repeated often in the song, or the transcriber wished to insert many blanklines, they often do so by having multiple timestamps next to the one line like so:
[00:19.39][02:12.34]屋上から見下ろしてしまえば
[00:24.08][02:16.92]君も所詮ちっぽけでした
[00:28.55][02:21.47]1cm足らずの存在を切り取ってしまおう
[00:33.11][02:26.05]消してあげる
But subs2srs refuses to import these lines at all, which is quit frustrating.
Almost all my lyrics are formatted like this, so it'd be extremely helpful if there were a solution you could point me to, or if you could update the software to accept these lines. To make it even better, you could add a checkbox that asks whether you want to export such repeated lines for every repeat, or just the first.
P.S: You've probably been asked this a bazillion times, but is there any chance of Unicode support in filenames?

Just throwing out ideas...
Reorder the files?
If that doesn't work, I have no clue.
