弘 verbreiten...

#1
Sorry but I need it in GERMAN, because I already got a good story for the next: strong: Insekten verbreiten sich bekanntlich stark.
So how to make "verbreiten" (fan out?) out of bow and ellbow? I got no clue.
Are there any Germans with a good idea, or someone else who gets the german sense?

Not in German.. sorry... but nonetheless, maybe helpful... I associate wide (広) and vast (弘) together... elbow room inside a cave = wide... bow room outside a cave = vast...

"If you pull the bow back with your elbow, you can shoot a vast distance." is the top story in the study section - just adopt it to sth like:
"Wenn du den Bogen mit deinem Ellbogen zurückziehst (Bewegung vorstellen!), kannst du die maximale Schussentfernung des Pfeils verbreiteRn/jede Menge Pfeile verbreiten. "
You can choose one, according to which connotation of "verbreiten" you want to concentrate on.

Adding a clue like "insects are strong for their size" might do the trick.
