The weirdest clock you'll ever see

#1
Leave it to the japanese....to distract.....and yet entertain..... :-p

UNIQLO is a famous japanese clothing brand.

Check this out:
http://www.uniqlock.jp

This is supposed to be a musical dance clock.

It changes as the music changes. Btw, I think
there are bonus clips every 10,000 seconds (I saw one
at 140,000).

They even have a screensaver with even more stuff if you feel inclined.

My all-time fav uniqlo dance vid is actually on youtube:

There is an hour of clips? It started looping for me after 5 mins or so.

@Virtua_Leaf : well it's a clothing brand AFAIK, so it's a way to present their products.

I think there's a special 30 secs clip at midnight... (that was 15 mins ago) Wink

This is why I love the Japanese. Why can't we come up with cool stuff like this? Instead we get Gap and Old Navy commercials. -sigh-

This clock is so good. It's just... so bloody weird. But I like weird.

Just found out that the videos and such DO change with the time of day. I knew it!

edit: boooo no support html :(

You can set clock to other parts of the world and get your blog listed there too... very very smart.

PS: if you're bored there are archives of previous seasons too Big Grin

omgosh, I think I'm getting addicted. I keep coming back like ever hour and a half to check it. This'll DESTROY my immersion environment...

I know, right? Every hour I am there to see the special 30sec dance. I also downloaded the desktop version. This clock makes me happy.

I'm not sure I see the weirdness, but I do see the fun!
There seems to be a set of clips for daytime, and a set for nighttime.
I like the ones who just have tights on their bottom halves Big Grin

Apparently it changes by the season as well. That is, they're dressed so warmly now specifically because it is, in fact, winter.

oh goodness what
I must explore the site and find these archives.

This is the most distracting clock ever and I'm not even sure why. D:
