RTK3? RevTK? Trinity? i+1? FAQ?

#1
Hello,

this site is great but for a beginner it can be a bit confusing, especially for non-native English speakers. I see you guys use tons of abbreviations that I've never heard of.

What are...

- RevTK? (edit: oh my...silly me, the name of this site!!) o.O
- Trinity?
- i+1?

I figured out AJATT, RTK, Anki and SRS...

A FAQ for newbies in a pinned thread would be amazing! Smile

Also, another question: is RTK3 featured in the study section as well? Or "only" RTK1?

Thanks for help,
Marcel

Trinity is, at least from what I know, another site by Fabrice, the maker of this one. It's for learning Japanese sentences etc, not just kanji like this one.

i + 1 basically means "what you know + a little more". When you want to find material to study from, the optimal material is when there's just a small amount of new things introduced. When you're a beginner, it can be sort of hard to find good i + 1 material which is why it's mentioned quite a bit on the forums.

RtK3 is featured, it "unlocks" when you add your first RtK3 kanji.

Tobberoth, thank you. I just wanted to order RTK3 but I see it's out of print *sigh* hopefully I can find a used copy somewhere. Anyway, let's finish RTK1 first... Smile

What do you mean it's out of print? Order it from Amazon.com.
