Hi Everybody!

#1
Hi everyone! And Merry Christmas! I just started with Heisig (bought I & II plus the kana book) about a week ago. Happily working through my first 150 or so Kanji and half the hiragana. So it's just a matter of not stopping. Momentum is everything when you have a busy life, I find. I'm a Spaniard living in Ireland, and would like to live in Japan sometime in the future. Great affinity with that culture. I'm trying to get a friend with intermediate Japanese to pick it up again so we can help each other and specially get competitive ;o) he already beats me at running and I beat him at weights. Good fun!
Just a question: I got Anki working fine on my WXP pc, but I have Ubuntu in my older pc and can't find the Heisig file after install. Any suggestions?

Also, anybody using the Ultimate Japanese course? Bought it and seemed fine, but too much romanji...

usr/share/doc/anki/examples/RTK1+3.anki

is the default location for the linux install. You can also sync your deck from the xp computer to the website and then sync the linux computer. If you set them to sync on open and close then it doesn't matter which computer you use (as long as you have internet on both.)
