What about Nagoya?

#1
I was reading the "RTK get together" thread and had an idea; why not get people together in Nagoya and invite Heisig (who is in Nagoya, right?) to a speech/nomikai. Because of the current job I have I could contact Heisig professionally, get quite a crowd together for his speech, and probably arrange for facilities, etc. Nagoya has lots of plusses over Tokyo (not to say its better, Tokyo is in its own class, but for this type of event):
It is centrally located in Japan (in the very center of Japan, if you believe our PR posters)
It is cheaper than Tokyo
Heisig is here
Its closer to Kyoto/Osaka (if anyone actually came from overseas you could push out from here to either location, or even Tokyo for that matter)
and last and probably least; Im here and would be willing to pick up most of the slack to get things together.

I know there are a couple other people here from Nagoya, so even if we cant get everyone together, maybe we could all get together and try to get in touch with Heisig.

Hyland1,

you know, your post about a nagoya get-together was posted just before i joined this site, so i never saw it.

too bad for me, because i live only an hour from nagoya in gifu prefecture.

anyway, fabrice will be in the area at the end of april. i was thinking we could have a small get together in gifu-city, which is only 20min by jr train. so it would be a great way for the nagoya and gifu area folks to meet.

more details will come when fabrices schedule is ironed out.

Having a meeting/presentation with Heisig would be awesome. It would be a chance for people to learn about his methods, and would attract people who've already used his method and those interested in it. If it happened soon, it would nicely coincide with his the release of the newest edition of RTK1. It would be good publicity. What is your professional connection? I'm sure other CIRs could help to make it a significant event.
