I was reading the "RTK get together" thread and had an idea; why not get people together in Nagoya and invite Heisig (who is in Nagoya, right?) to a speech/nomikai. Because of the current job I have I could contact Heisig professionally, get quite a crowd together for his speech, and probably arrange for facilities, etc. Nagoya has lots of plusses over Tokyo (not to say its better, Tokyo is in its own class, but for this type of event):
It is centrally located in Japan (in the very center of Japan, if you believe our PR posters)
It is cheaper than Tokyo
Heisig is here
Its closer to Kyoto/Osaka (if anyone actually came from overseas you could push out from here to either location, or even Tokyo for that matter)
and last and probably least; Im here and would be willing to pick up most of the slack to get things together.
I know there are a couple other people here from Nagoya, so even if we cant get everyone together, maybe we could all get together and try to get in touch with Heisig.
