Hey guys, I want to go to college in Japan. Right now I'm a first year in community college until I get my two year degree. Looking at ASU's study abroad programs, I'm disappointed. Basically for their program I have to take six semesters of Japanese classes, then I would get to stay for five weeks.
So what I want to do then is to just go to college normally. Just try and get accepted into a normal college in Japan not aimed at foreigners. I'm wondering if this would be a reasonable goal?
If I were to pursue this, what would it require? What would be some decent colleges to go for? (I want to get a degree in economics, fyi) Has anybody else here gone to college in Japan, how did you do it? What would be some resources with info on this?

At least when you are from a country where private universities are few and far between.
