multiple subject SRS

#1
I'm not sure if this has already been discussed or not.

Does anyone know if it's better to have all subjects intermingled in your SRS program or to have separate decks for each subject? If you're already using SRS for more than Japanese, are you using multiple decks or just one for everything?

I have them in separate decks, for several reasons.

1. There are some decks I want to review every day, other decks I review just from time to time.
2. Anki makes statistics which can be nice to have, I don't want my statistics for Japanese mixed with my statistics for learning linux commands.
3. IMO it's positive to keep the amount of models etc of a deck down to keep it lite.
4. Your settings for intervals etc might be different for different subjects.

Not to mention the amount of mental context switching involved.
