First let me say Hi!...I'm brand new here and just started RTK1. Reading through the intro to the book, Heisig says we should not review the kanji we have studied too soon because that will prevent our long term memory from kicking in and internalizing the kanji. So how can I incorporate using flashcards into the system?
Hope I made sense here...

Do people have any thoughts on using Anki - whether to just use built in scheduling or tweak at all for RTK? I use Anki for reviews and the site for helping with stories.

Anki comes with a Heisig deck, so it's the exact same amount of hassle.

Anki has an excellent algorithm, and can be customized a variety of ways. This site is excellent, too. You really can't go wrong with either one.
