Well i've been researching ways to come to this site where i don't have to be tethered at my desktop pc. I've found an awesome solution to everyone with a windows mobile phone. Skyfire. I'm to lazy to type out everything rite now but i think reading these two pages should suffice.

Now I haven't myself tried the app but i'm probably going to go buy a windows mobile phone just to get it. If anyone could try out this browser with revTK that would be awesome. It has flash and ajax support but is that enough to suffice for this site?

Or you could just use an iPhone / iPod Touch Smile

Well it was really more directed at people who dont wanna pay 100 bucks a month for att iphone plan. And it was also supposed to imply awesome mobile flash. It is really the whole internet in your pocket. Maybe im making to big a thing out of it but its amazing to me. And imo it crushes safari.

I can't really say I've even noticed the lack of flash on my iPod touch. Most (non-youtube) flash content on the web is just banners anyways. Maybe if you play online flash games (probably wouldn't work well without a keyboard anyways) or visit more obscure flash video sites it's an issue..

I watched the demo video for Skyfire and everything seemed very slow/choppy, but maybe it was just the hardware they were running it on...

How could you have an opinion on if it crushes Safari anyways if you've never even tried Skyfire and probably not mobile Safari either? There are reasons to get a Windows Mobile device (EPWING readers) but the choice of browsers isn't one of them.

If your primary reason for buying a mobile device is to run RTK, you won't need flash. Also an iPod touch doesn't require any montly payments. You'll of course need a wifi connection, though.

You'll need a data plan with any phone if you're using Skyfire. My iPhone unlimited data plan is only $19.99 a month. Yeah, it doesn't support flash, but the convenience of safari's zoom-in/out is something I wouldn't trade. I agree with samesong on this one.

Well the reason im getting the phone isnt to run revtk, but to be able to see all flash sites. I'm due for an upgrade on my original chocolate anyways. I agree that the interface that safari has is probably better, but there are other phones with pinch zoom funcionality. The iphones screen is also better than any microshaft mobile/symbian phones too. I didn't mean to start a cell phone war in the learning recourses forum, just puttin out an awesome app.

Agreed, flash on a cell phone is pretty awesome.

That said, I don't think I have missed flash at all. I browse pretty heavily via my iPhone too.
