Does anyone know if there might be some way to "intercept" the comments that people post on videos on niconico douga, so I could have them in a plaintext format?
This would mainly just be so I can easily copy and paste the words into a dictionary, since it's really time-consuming otherwise.

Yea, many of them are in the sidebox. Not sure if you can grab them all though.

EDIT: Actually looks like all the comments are there, and you can sort by time and even double click them to jump to that time frame. But you can't highlight to c&p the text....

NicoNico Douga is made in flash so there's probably no way of extracting the text unfortunately. This is why flash is not recommended for website use, it's flashy but really bad from a user friendliness standpoint.

I've not tried it myself (I'm happy with CravingExploror), but if that site doesn't work you could search for "ニコニコ ダウンロード コメント付き" or such.

You put a link to a video in the box and then it will grab all the comments and output them on an html page!
