I reached 280 but my review was only 17 out of 31 correct which was depressing.
Can someone encourage me by reasuring me in a logical way that recalling a certain kanji from what sometimes seem like random keywords like "draw near" or "paulownia" is really the answer for learning kanji?
Hmmpff.
But, on another note, keep it up everybody!

I just got to 1333 and kissed the monitor. I've been seeing this kanji and its primitive so much lately that I was tempted to just jump to this chapter and hit it.
hknamida sounds like Korean. 8)

I'm up for a new day of my plan for at least 100 kanji per day. The extremely long reviews are pretty painful, I've only been doing this for a few days but I'm already doing 300+ review cards every morning. I'm trying to keep it steady though. I want to reach my goal, so I know I have to keep at it even if RtK takes up the better portion of my day. I'm up to frame 577 as of this morning, so I feel like I've made progress at least.

Compared to you, I am just at the beginning :-( 145, but this thread is very motivating and I plan to learn 40-50 kanji per day....

Whew, finally finished my workload today. After my 500+ card review, I went on to finish up Lesson 23. Lesson 23 really was a pain like people have said in this thread. It took me 3-4 tries on some of the kanji because I kept forgetting the new primitives. Currently, I am on frame 778. My time spent doing RtK has climbed to around 6-7 hours a day I'm guessing.
I just feel like saying, don't be discouraged if you're screwing up the reviews. My review percentages are pretty inconsistent, but for the older kanji they are definitely getting better, going as high as 90-95%. Learning percentage for me is usually a lot worse, like my final 2/3 of lesson 23 percentage of 78%. Keeping it going is most important and being frustrated ruins concentration that could be spent doing more kanji.

Crap! I was only able to review the day before yesterday and yesterday I didn't even get a chance as I was setting up my new laptop. I'm dreading the reviews today once I finally get my deck on here.

Just got to 1500. That's one quarter of the way through @_@.
These kanji are working their way into the brain. I don't have headaches anymore. Now when I learn it just feels like something that is supposed to be happening.
Keep it up everyone!!! This feeling is awesome!!!
