As discussed before, learning Kanji having English as a second language (like myself) using the the original RTK is pretty...tough.
Now, the world started to realize this issue and hath born some real nice men to this world to translate RTK to French, Spanish and German (in this, my, case Robert Rauther, http://www.kanjilernen.de).
I knew of Heisig looong before, like 4 years before I actually started with it.
It's much more effective to use the book in your own language.
Well, and hell it's effective. Though I study laws I had enough time to learn 1600 Kanji in within a little more than half a year.
Just a few days ago I found this site on the internet and now it's going on so fast I'm getting scared of myself!!
So thanks for this great idea!

Now there are 4 languages of this book and there is where the trouble starts: I cannot use the "review" function of this great site. Why not? Well, first of all I don't know all of the words and it's tiresome to work out the differences between too very simiar words.
But that would not be the biggest trouble, after all.
The German and the English version of the book don't match in keywords! Like every 5th word is a little different so I cannot guess the German equivalent just like that. Every 10th Kanji is even completely different (like the Kanji for "dance" which is "jump" in the German version).
So it's uneffective for me to use that, especially in such a late state of study.

That's why I want to ask:
Would it be possible to add the other 3 languages?
So you can choose which are displayed?

I thought if you could mark your story to be for one certain language only (because the word completely differs from the English version) it could be helpful for learners like myself. And, それより, I could use the great reviewing function.

I would offer to type some of the keywords if you could manage that!

For some words (I did 1350 to 1600 again the last days) which keywords are different from the English version I posted stories in German already.

This would make this page international!!

I know nothing about the workings behind this site, but I would imagine that it's been done in a way which would allow a choice of languages. I guess that the main problem would be finding someone willing to type out all the keywords for each foreign language.

Well I know somewhere on the page (probably the information pages), that there was a link to the original file used as the basis of this site. It was typed out by someone else from the books.

I remember downloading the file myself at the time and playing about with it in Excel (after importing) so if you just want a list of the words so you can add in another language next to it that would do...

You're right, that seems to be the foundation of this page, though I guess quite some work remained after that to create the lists on this page. What needs to be changed is simply (simply?) the head of each frame, adding one more language by multiple choice box (e.g. English and German, you still need English in order to understand the stories others shared and if you can use them). On top of that, as a matter of order, you might also add a second list besides the first list under each frame containing stories in the foreign languages for different keywords (or primitives).
Would the owner of this page please add an answer here please? It would be a nice thing to know if that can be done or not.....

Sorry, if I'm reviving this thread, but I have a list of the French RTK keywords that I found somewhere on the web. It would be great to be able to practice the keywords in french on this site. Would there be any interest in doing this, and whom should I send this to?

I believe, for legal reasons, keywords in the other languages aren't allowed on this site. See this post by Fabrice. That being said, there is nothing stopping you from using the list and your own SRS system on your computer.

Thanks, I wasn't aware of any copyright issues. Now what's an SRS exactly? Does it have anything to do with Greasemonkey?

Spaced Repetition System. It means a software that uses repetition intervals like this website. Major ones for the PC are Supermemo, Mnemosyne, jmemorize... you just input questions with answers into them and it asks you the question when the flashcard expires.

You can use the GreaseMonkey script described here, punching in the French keywords one by one or as you go. Just don't share your list and don't share your stories.
