If you're still looking for Misaki, as far as I know, NeoSpeech still doesn't offer the voice to the general public; however, you may be able to buy the company version of the voice for the paltry sum of $350US. Also, if you don't need to translate a lot of text, you can use this popular online TTS service as elsewhere mentioned.
Currently, I'm using Ivona Reader with Amy and Brian's voices, which are available together for a fair price, especially considering how good they sound compared to most others. Amy's voice in particular is fairly easy to listen to and I use it to do a lot of my "reading" on this forum (and everywhere else) while I'm doing the dishes, etc. The problem is that the reader can't recognize the difference between English and Japanese text (though I have a Japanese voice installed) so it skips all the Japanese parts.
Does anyone use software that recognizes the difference between English and Japanese and will switch voices accordingly?
