This is a valuable site! Simple, clean and efficient! Our whole family is using it now. My son (who incidently has studied 2.5 years of Chinese) has memorised close to 500 kanji in a little over 2 weeks.

We are all so impressed with the Heisig system that we now have all three books (I, II, and III). We are moving to Japan next year (currently living in Malaysia)

More "kanji" to u all as we race for the 2041 mark!!

That is quite impressive, and interesting. I guess your son was already familiar with the chinese radicals, and that must have helped him learn Heisig's primitives much quicker.

Sometimes we swap our stories - my wife and I anyway - our son prefers to just cram on his own! ;-)

PS Yep the Chinese Studies have helped - i am only around 130-140 kanji after two weeks!
