Alternatives to paying with foreign credit card

#1
So, I finally got my Tenso account all set up and verified, so I went to buy my item and it turns out the website I'm using doesn't accept foreign credit cards. :< Is there any way around this?

Nope not really. I know you've signed up for Tenso, but you might want to look around and see if there is a deputy service that will do middle man purchases for you.

Paypal? After a quick google into what you mentioned and scrolling down to the bottom i did see a paypal logo there. Maybe that would fit the middle man purchaser you want

He's not talking about Tenso he's talking about another website. He needs to buy it off some website X that only takes Japanese credit cards and have it shipped to Tenso. I'm guessing its not one of tenso's main websites they do proxy buying for though.

I know White Rabbit Japan has a proxy buying service, though I haven't yet used it.  It's a bit pricey for the book I looked up, but it's probably more manageable if you're buying multiple items, and it looks like the domestic shipping portion of the quote is a maximum rather than an actual estimate.

I don't know where you're trying to buy from, but what about using a proxy service like Noppin or From Japan? There are others too which you can research. I've used From Japan to order from Yahoo Japan Auctions, it costs a little more, but it's better than not being able to buy the thing you want.

Yeah, I'm trying to buy from a site that isn't one of the big ones suggested by Tenso. Anyway, thanks, I'll look into some of these proxy services.
