In Shirokuma Cafe, episode 1, a bunch of animals come in to the cafe for an interview.  Here's the scene:

Quote:白熊：では、最初の方、どうぞ
穴熊:はい。穴熊です。
白熊:えーと、ホール係りやれますか？
穴熊:はい！ホールなら任せてください。
白熊、ペンギン:ほ~
穴熊:穴を掘るの、得意なんです。あ、あ、あ、あ…
ペンギン:いや、そのホールは違うし…
 
白熊：次の方。
ゾウガメ:は~い~　ゾ~ウ~ガ~メ~で~す。
白熊:料理とか、運べますか？
ゾウガメ：は~い~　ヨ~イ~ショー　え…
ペンギン：ゆっくりだね。
白熊：うん。
ゾウガメ：百年くらい働かせて~
白熊:いえ、そんなには…
 
マンドリル：マンドリルです。　食べるのが得意です。
白熊：ちょっと、それは…
 
小蟻食:小蟻食です。い、威嚇ができます。　うん　わあ~
白熊：それだけ？
ペンギン：みたいだね。

Most of the jokes I get, I think, but I don't get the マンドリル one.  Is there a pun there?  Maybe I just don't know enough about mandrills?

I guess its funny because its an interview for a cafe job so promoting yourself as good at eating doesn't look good...

I did a bit of research on Madrills and found this:

Haha this must be it.  I skimmed the wikipedia article and got the bit about being omnivores, but I missed that they have huge appetites too!
