Nihongo Challenge for N4

#1
Is it good enough for JLPT N4? It has kanji, reading and grammar sections.

Would Tae Kim be a good addition or would you recommend some other book?

It is, I like Nihongo Challenge/Soumatome a lot but the grammar explanations are extremely succinct, so you'll need an extra source for grammar!

I love that book. I started going through after failing N3. I found the N3 books to be a bit too challenging, and that book was great for helping me boost up my confidence and polish some of my rough edges. I highly recommend it.

Also, when people talk about JLPT prep, I always recommend that Japanese Online Institute (JOI). They have JLPT specific lessons and an incredible trial ($10 for 3 lessons IIRC?)
