For cards that I routinely confuse with others cards I've just hit on a method that's been working very well for me, so I'll share it here.
I've been doing rtk as recognition, so kanji on the front, keyword on the back. A week or so, I created a
separate deck with just the confusing kanji and designed the card as a kind of multiple choice card. On the front, I have the keyword and below it I have every kanji that I confuse with that keyword. On the back, I have the same info plus the correct answer. I set anki's settings to only show each card to me occasionally since I feel like I just need the occasional reminder.
What is working really well about this is I have all of the confusing kanji next to each other on the front of the card so I am forced to focus on exactly on what differentiates the kanji.
If anyone feels like giving this a try, here is a list of
confusing kanji and another one for
confusing keywords to get you started. I'm not sure, but If you are doing rtk production like op, maybe it makes more sense to use the keywords list and test a single kanji with multiple choice keywords, but whatever works for you.
