I fell off the wagon for a few months, right after I managed to complete all 2200 in RTK1.  Now, I've got about 1700 cards in my review pile...

...yikes.  Is there a way to organize my review pile show me reviews by Heisig order? I figured it'd be easier, and better for my memory, to review them in Heisig order, but I don't want to start over and lose all my progress.  I'm using this website's SRS function.  I figured it'd be easier if I tried to export to Anki, but I'm not sure how to export the information to Anki without losing all my progress.  (Maybe I'm just not sure how to correctly use the exported information).

Any help would be great!

There is an option on Kanji Koohii to review new cards in order, but not due cards.

Imho, let the SRS handle it. You may fail a bunch of cards, remembering some of the primitives in the process and the further you go through the due cards, that will help you out with the remaining due cards.

Assuming you don't have a lot of "restudy" cards right now, you'll find the failed ones in the Restudy pile which you can go through a second pass by clicking "Review" in the Study page sidebar.

I know what you mean.  I found that it was very helpful from time to time to do a review of all the kanji in Heisig order because that helps reinforce the learning/remembering of the keywords.

In fact, even now, when trying to remember the keyword for a particular kanji, if I can remember the kanji before it and after it (in Heisig order) that often helps me recall the keyword.

If worse comes to worse and you really want to review the kanji in Heisig order, just use the paper copy of the book and cover the part of each kanji you're reviewing with a slip of paper.

IMO sometimes people treat the whole anki/srs thing too much as if it were a precise science or something which it's not, then they get all hung up on computer related issues when it's really quite simple.

That's not a bad idea actually john555 !

You could go through the book like that quickly just to get a refresher, advance through the characters whether you remember or not. And then after that go through the reviews.

Doesn't the Custom Review feature provide exactly this?

Could do a custom review without checking the "shuffle" option, yes. However that won't count for the SRS but that would be another option to get a quick refresh of the primitives, assuming you don't spend too much time on each card. At least it lets you review/edit the story.

I've been doing this for the past two days, 1-500 on day one, and 501 - 1000 on day two.  

I got 90% correct on day 1, and day 2.  So far, not so bad.  We'll see how the next two days go.
