If so, how'd you rate it linguistically?

Haven't gone through them yet, but there are playthroughs on Youtube that should give you an idea.

Oh my god. I just saw this on the playstation store and its 7,500 yen. That's insane for a visual novel! Whats the run time on it?

I'm about to finish Genki 2 + about 600 kanji to finish RTK and I love Steins;Gate. Visual novel translations take so long that I wonder if I'll be able to read it by the time it gets translated... :O

Don't know yet, but probably long (30-50 hours), going by the previous entries (will be available at the link below once someone figures it out):

That's hardly absurd for Japanese pricing of this kind of thing... One of the reasons I don't import new games: even before import expenses, they cost a ton...
You can get the less expensive Vita version though (6800円), if you have one; I imagine that the story is intact, but that any fancy graphics will have been trimmed out.
Alternatively, you can wait for (what I assume will be) an inevitable PC release, by which point the price should have dropped a bit.

You also get a code to download Steins;Gate HD for the PS4, even with the non-PS4 versions. Which I'm sure all the people who have already played it and don't even have a PS4 will appreciate...

A small update: I've read Steins;Gate and found it mostly on the easier side, though t gets a tad bit tough in between. Difficulty Wise, I'll rate is 3/5.

I guess that's good news, but what's your current current level of Japanese?
I've seen all sorts of comments when it comes to visual novels... some people start reading them as soon as they're done with N4 grammar +2k core (sometimes RTK too), others claim you need to reach N3 at the very least, and some claim that you won't be able to read them comfortably until you're at N2 level or so.

That's because visual novels are a huge spectrum of Japanese difficulty level and some people want to read them extensively rather than intensively. If you don't mind intensive reading it is definitely possible to get through はなひらっ! with a solid N4 level but if you were N2 level you could fly through it with very little effort.
