Best way to go about Tae Kim's guide?

#1
I know quite a bit of grammar already, but I feel like it would be in my best interest to get through the whole grammar guide. My problem is, I don't really know how best to go about doing it. Should I make Anki cards for each grammar point with the example sentences? If so, what would be the optimal way of formatting it?

Thanks  Big Grin

Make cards of the example sentences not the grammar points. Put whatever notes are helpful on the back: The grammar point information; glosses for unknown words; etc.

I love Tae Kim's website.
Curiously, it's the only place I've come across, on the web or in books that makes the point that です is NOT simply the polite version of the declarative だ. Thoughts?

There are already Tae Kim decks, so no need to create your own.  If you already know some grammar, I would set the cards to a high interval so you aren't spending time doing reviews on patterns you already understand.  The deck I have has the chapter names as tags so I know where to look on the website if I need an explanation of the grammar.  Otherwise, I just drill the example sentences as suggested by tokyostyle.
